Malc is an old friend who took up photography about 5 years ago. His photos explore colour and perspective, and I love his unusual take on landscape and architecture. He’s just started a foundation degree in photography which he’s pretty excited about, so much so that he’s blogging about it in his wry style. Last month, this shot won top ten in the Craven Herald and Craven Museum Our Craven exhibition in Skipton. It’s safe to say he’s pretty chuffed that it will now be made into a postcard which you’ll be able to send to all your friends when you visit the Gateway to the Dales.
The following shots are Malc’s entries in the Telegraph and Argus Yorkshire Landscapes competition. I love the framing and composition on these.
Malc is also practicing his portraiture – I think this is a poignant one of a friend’s daughter, which you can vote for until 8th October by clicking on the picture.
